Our well-established business has been operating for over five decades.
The original owners are from Switzerland, and all of our processes and many of our recipes honour that heritage.
The business encompasses a true scratch bakery offering a full selection of breads, sweets, pastries, and desserts. Alongside the bakery, we also offer a full deli selection including lunch service, take-home foods, catering, and assorted savouries. To round out the business we carry a diverse selection of local, imported and specialty grocery items.
We’re located in beautiful Kamloops in the south central interior of British Columbia.
Why a contest?
We wanted a win win solution for the succession of our business.
Naturally we want to maximize our return on our investment and sweat equity, but we also wanted to find a way for someone to purchase our established, stable business without having to take on tremendous debt. We believe the next owner(s) of our business will have a superior chance of success by avoiding the burden of debt. The business can be more nimble, more opportunistic and respond to changes in the economy far better without the burden of debt normally associated with a business purchase.
